Former softball teammate Chloe Amarilla (CMC ‘19) earned a Fulbright Fellowship. Athena basketball player Ellery Koelker-Wolfe (CMC ’19) was one of Claremont McKenna College’s 2019 valedictorian and was also CMC’s top overall science student. Stag baseball player Pat Shore (CMC ’19) won the “Best Thesis” award for physical sciences and Athena cross country and track & field runner Malea Martin (CMC ’19) was honored in 2019 as CMC’s top student in literature. Brenden Brown (HMC ‘19 - Football) received departmental honors in engineering as did Finn Southerland (HMC ‘19 - Track) in mathematics and Colin Adams (HMC ‘19 - Cross Country/Track) in physics. Adams also received the Mindlin Prize for Innovative Ideas in Science and the Thomas B. Brown Award for Research in Physics. Deji Andrew (HMC ‘19 - Baseball) received the J.R. Phillips Award in Engineering. Morgan Blevins (HMC ‘19 - Cross Country/Track) was in the Tau Beta Pi - The Engineering Honor Society. Maddie Peterson (SC ‘19 - Soccer) received the Joan Robinson Senior Thesis Prize in Economics.
